Valentine's Day Hearts

Here is another simple project that does not require a cutting machine (though you certainly could use one if you wanted!). Using a heart-shaped craft punch, I punched out hearts in various StyleTech films.

Some of the films I used were: Pink TG (transparent glitter), red TG, magenta TG, ultra metallic melon, ultra metallic fluorescent pink, rosy polished metal & fluorescent pink.

After punching out the various colors I wanted, I took a piece of string (any kind will work really) and taped each heart to the string. If you wanted, you could use a hole punch and run the string through the hearts that way. For me, it was easiest to just tape them on the back to the string. You can also use double-sided tape & put a heart on the other side so it is double-sided.

You have lots of different options on how to use these strings of hearts. You can put them up as just regular Valentine’s Day decorations by putting them on a wall, mantle, door, doorway or even a chandlier (if you made the length a little shorter). They can be decorations for a Valentine’s Day party. It would also work great as a backdrop for a photo booth at a wedding or party.
