Snowman Ornament for Kids
Similar to the Christmas tree ornament we featured previously here, this is a great project for the kids to do during the Christmas break!
Materials:
Blank ornaments (available at every craft supply store this time of the year—they usually come several to a box)
When choosing an ornament style, go for something flatter—this makes it easier to lay the material on the ornament.
Transfer tape (to help lay the vinyl on the ornament) (optional)
Craft vinyl in various colors
First, you will need to plot out a few snowmen for the kids. Don’t forget to also plot out various accessories like buttons, scarves, hats and carrot noses so the kids can make the snowman their own!
You can assemble your snowmen on the release liner/backing paper & then use transfer tape to move the entire snowman to the ornament. Since the release liner is specially coated, this provides a little room for fixing any mistakes.
If not, you can assemble your snowman directly on the ornament. This method means you don’t have to use transfer tape but it makes it harder to correct any mistakes.
